Water Quality Index Prediction for Improvement of Treatment Processes on Drinking Water Treatment Plant

چکیده

In order to improve the treatment processes of drinking water plant (DWTP) located near Butoniga reservoir in Istria (Croatia), a prediction quality index (WQI) was done. Based on parameters such as temperature, pH, turbidity, KMnO4, NH4, Mn, Al and Fe, calculation WQI conducted, while for models, along with mentioned parameters, O2, TOC UV254 were additionally used. Four models built predict time step one, five, ten, fifteen days advance, DWTP regarding changes raw reservoir. Therefore, obtained can help optimization processes, which depend water, overall, sustainability plant. Results showed that correlation coefficients all are relatively high and, expected, decrease number increases; conversely, rules, related linear equations, depends set WEKA modelling software, default settings give highest values coefficient (R) each model optimal rules. addition, have accuracy compared measured data, good peak values. through WQI, manage DWTP,
